2012 GUBER: REP RALLIES SUPPORT FOR OSHIOMHOLE

BENIN-AHEAD 2012 governorship election in Edo State, a House of Representatives member, Mr. Pally Iriase, Wednesday, said it will be in the best interest of the people of the state to return Governor Adams Oshiomhole to Government House for him to sustain ongoing developmental projects.

Iriase, a former Secretary to the Edo State Government, now representing Owan Federal constituency in the National Assembly, stated this at a welcome ceremony organised for him by his people in Otuo, Owan East Local Government Area.

He also welcomed 200 decamping members of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, calling on the people of the area to support growth, which he said the ACN administration represent.

While stressing the need for continuity and sustenance of development in the state, he called for an end to 'political bickering, ethnic divide and rumour mongering,' adding, 'let us join hands to realise the re-election of Governor Oshiomhole in 2012.'
