ELEME PETROCHEMICAL DONATES TO GENERAL HOSPITAL

Port Harcourt-The Indorama/Eleme Petrochemical Company has donated various hospital equipment worth over N80 million to Nchia General Hospital, Eleme, Rivers State, as part of its corporate social responsibility.

Equipment donated include cardiac monitor, diagnostic sets, kidney dish, incubators and ulta-sound machine. Others include vacuum extractor, festoscope, mental catheter, patients beds, baby cots, heamatocrit reader, among others.

Chief Medical Director of the Rivers State Health Management Board, Dr Rojas Weli, who received the items, said the Indorama-EPCL gesture was unprecedented.

He said the hospital was now like a referral hospital because of the sophisticated equipments currently in it.
