OGUN NAMES VISITATION PANELS FOR TERTIARY SCHOOLS

ABEOKUTA-THE Ogun State Government has announced names of members of visitation and fact- finding panels for its tertiary institutions.

A statement by Mr. Yusuph Olaniyonu, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, said the panel members will ascertain the state of affairs in the institutions and advise the government on the best ways to run them.

An eight-man member panel each was named for Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU, Ago-Iwoye and Tai Solarin University of Education, TASUED, Ijagun .

According to the statement, fact-finding panels were constituted for the State College of Education, Omu, Gateway Industrial and Petrol-Gas Institute, Oni, Olabisi Onabanjo Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, College of Health Technology, Ilese and the four ICT Polytechnics in Ijebu-Igbo, Sapade, Igbesa and Itori.

Panel members for OOU include Professor Adeoye Akinsanya, (Chairman) and Mr. J. A. Adeneye (secretary), Professor S. O. Odunfa, Mr. Bayo Oyagbola, Professor Alani Fabunmi, Mrs. Ayo Osibamowo, Professor Chinedu F. Mafiazna, Chief Nathaniel O. Sotoyinbo are to serve as members.

The panel for TASUED is headed by Professor Layi Erinosho while Mr. Rotimi Odunsi will serve as secretary.
