WORKERS ACCUSE APM TERMINAL OF NEGLECT

LAGOS - FIVE workers of APM Terminals, who suffered various degrees of injury, have accused the management of abandoning them to die of neglect.

They called on President Goodluck  Jonathan to prevail on the management and owners of the company to save them from untimely death.

But the management of the company said it had done what was expected of it, adding, 'these medical conditions are not work-related but despite this, we have continually paid their salaries.

However, the workers,  who claimed their injuries ranged from paralysis, partial strokes among others, alleged that instead of treating them, the management of the APM terminals had asked them to either resume duty or collect peanuts as terminal benefits
