TECHNOGLASS INDUSTRIES LAUNCHES NEW PRODUCT

A glass manufacturing company, TechnoGlass Industries limited, has launched a new glass production unit called Insulated Glazing Unit, popularly referred to as I.G unit.

The new product is locally made and this in line to encourage made in Nigerian products, to boast the nation's economy and create job in various ways.

According to the Group Managing Director/CEO Mr. John Aluya, who also double as Chairman of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, MAN, Apapa branch said, 'with the introduction of the unit, Nigerian builders do not need to travel to Europe or Asia for imported insulated glass.'

He stressed that with the technological advancement of the company in the manufacturing techniques of glass production for use in the building industry of today, TechnoGlass Industries can compete favourably with any foreign glass company in terms of volume and quality.

Mr. Aluja, said that the IG Unit manufactured with glass panes separated with 'Spacer bar' and can be in range of thickness from 3mm to 10mm or more in special application.
