Israeli-based goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba, has expressed optimism that the Super Eagles would pull an outright victory over Madagascar when both teams clash this weekend for the African Nations Cup qualifiers.

Speaking to the media at the National Stadium Abuja during a media interaction, the former Enyimba FC of Aba goalkeeper said that the players were aware of the magnitude of the game this weekend, assuring that they would approach it with every seriousness it deserves.

'We are aware of the magnitude of this game and that is why everybody should work hard to ensure an outright victory against Madagascar. The most important thing is the victory and we have to work extra hard to ensure we win especially against Madagascar this weekend,' he assured.

Aiyenugba, who also spoke on the difficulty in Nigerian and African goalkeepers securing club in Europe, lamented that most Europeans clubs don't have confidence in the African goalskeepers.

'The truth is that the European clubs don't believe in African goalkeepers, but the most important thing is that we have to go extra mile to utilise the chances we got. We can't do anything other than work and wait for opportunity to come and that is why we are happy with Enyeama's contract,' he said.

He also commented on the relationship among Nigerians players in Israel, describing it as very cordial, just as he stressed: 'The relationship is very cordial including Nosa, who just joined us there recently.

'I just took him to the Nigerian restaurant and I can tell you that we call each other very often and equally relate very well there.

'Sometimes we get to meet each other and this is the only people we can take as your family.'
