Ernst & Young in partnership with  Performance Frontiers, an international business execution software and IT solutions provider, have announced the launch of information security services in the Nigerian market.

Announcing the partnership recently on the partnership, , the leader of Hacktics Advanced Security Center in Ernst & Young, Mr. Tal Mozes said that the  fast growing market in Nigeria raises the need for global practices in information security to face the escalation in corporate cyber attacks in Nigeria.

To achieve this, he believes  in information sharing with their  clients, providing them the ability to self-sustain their own information security practices with the most up to date techniques, in the rapidly changing security field.

For Mr. Amir Rasilevski, Head of the Cyber-Crime and GRC (Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance) depart-ments in Hacktics,  'In the past three years, we witnessed many sophis-ticated attacks originating from Nigeria. This indicates that the knowledge exists, but not necessarily to the right people'.

On the issue of regulation Mr. Rasilevski said, 'We have thorough familiarity with regula-tions for different industries in the global market. This knowledge will help Nigerian organizations to comply with international standards and best practices. This will also help them achieve even more competitive advantage in the respected market'.

According to him, Hacktics advanced Hacker-like techniques helps identify actual business risks and a distinctive mode of operating, which provides clients with both documentation of their breaches and a means of educating them on how to avoid falling into the same traps.
