The Chief Coach of the Super Eagles, Samson Siasia, his assistant, Simeon Kalika, and goalkeeper trainer, Ike Shorumu, yesterday drilled 17 Eagles players at the National Stadium, Abuja ahead of the team's possible departure to Antananarivo today for the tie against Madagascar this weekend.

Although the 12 players had the first training session yesterday morning, the number, however, increased to 17 during the evening session following the arrival of other players.

Daily Sunsports can report that the players who trained yesterday evening include goalkeeper duo of Israeli-based Dele Aiyenugba and Warri Wolves save hands, Chigozie Agbim, defenders Chibuzor Okonkwo, Efe Ambrose and Dele Adeleye, Ukraine-based combative midfielder, Yusuf Ayila, Chelsea's John Mikel Obi, Fegur Ogude, Inter Milan of Italy's Joel Obi and Nosa Igiebor.

The strikers on hand during the training include: Ukraine-based Brown Ideye, Everton's Victor Anichebe, German Bundesliga forward, Chinedu Obasi Ogbuke, Lokomotiv Moscow of Russia mechanical attacker, Obinna Victor Nsofor, Peter Utaka, Ahmed Musa, and Solomon Okoronkwo.

Meanwhile, the team's captain, Joseph Yobo, and Ikechukwu Uche who were conspicuously missing during the two training sessions would join the team in Antananarivo as they were permitted to sort out their transfer issues before today's deadline of the summer window.

Lille of France goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, who was not also part of the training session joined the team last night as some personal issues delayed his beating the arrival deadline.
