Oba Saala, Olaniyi while speaking at the media briefing prophesied and urged everyone to pray fervently to avoid fighting between the Christians and Moslems community in Nigeria. Olamilekan also stated that the Saala Ogboni fellowship is not a secret society but a tradition handed down by 'our forefathers who were worshippers of the religion.' He also appealed for peace to reign and that culture and tradition should be maintained and propagated rather than imbibing the western culture. He added that the word 'Saala' means purity and should be a virtue that should be imbibed.
