Akpabio declared ''Take a look at the Akwa Ibom International Airport with the most sophisticated structures and equipment comparable to J. F. Kennedy Airport in New York, Heathrow Airport in London and Schippol Airport in Amsterdam''.

The Senator who is a member of Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) mentioned ''Take a drive from Ikot Ekpene through Abak to Uyo via Ekom Iman-Ekit Itam Road and flyover to Le Meridien at Uruan in the night and you will find no difference between Akwa Ibom and Dubai, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Texas and Paris''.

According to him,   ''Consider the educational revolution in the last four years and note that there is no more shopping for house-helps in Akwa Ibom. The electrical power in Akwa Ibom is becoming very steady with over 85 per cent of villages connected to the national grid. The health sector has added value to life with free medical treatment for pregnant women, children and the aged. The Tropicana and Le Meridien are changing the face of tourism. He has rebuilt Akwa Ibom State in such a way and manner that we have become the envy of not only Nigerians but the world''.

He explained that the dedication service was organised to appreciate God for giving Akwa Ibom, Governor Godswill Akpabio who has embarked on development strides in last four years and for his re-election for another four years to continue the uncommon transformation in the state.

Ibokessien recalled ''We were many in the governorship race in 2007 including myself. God chose him and that is why I am giving him all my support for the good works he is doing. I call on all the people of Akwa Ibom State and friends of the state to give the Governor and his government support and prayer'', thanking Akpabio for the construction of Lutheran Road, culvert across Umuahia Road and the drainage works around this church''.

Governor Akpabio congratulated them on the successful dedication of the church and advised Christians to put God first in whatever they do for their lives won't be the same.
