LIVING ABROAD vs GOING BACK HOME
Simple reason why we go to school is to learn how to read and write ,how to express ourselves and how to live among others.After the schooling ,we leave school for onward usage of the things we learn from school.if you study to be a Doctor ,after your graduation and housemanship ,intern and other process that takes you about 6-7 years ,they expect you to get out and start practising what you learn.
If you study Engineering ,Banking and Finance,Accountancy,zoology,Pharmacy,bio-chemistry ,what ever you choose to study after your graduation ,you are expected to leave school and start off ,that brings me to AFRICAN migration to hinder nations,it was a move blessed with necesity and want and of desperation to better MOTHER AFRICA.
Many African,s nay Nigerian,s left the shores of our land to sojourn on a white man,s land ,with unbending belief, that there are difficulties in ways of life back home.Many went abroad to learn that which we lack and which he or she swore that needs improvement back home.Therefore some of our African Brothers are top dogs in chosen profession ,from Medicals to Engineering ,teaching,inventions and many other good stuff that improves life.When they left the shores of Mother Africa they swore that they must come back to improve lives ,but once they got the needed expertise ,they will change gear and stand..and suddenly the country of origin will become so backward for his educated head,which means he abandoned those parents,sibblings ,spouses and kinsmen that labour ,prayed and sent him overseas.
REASONS;Damn ,there is no security in that goddam place .There is no Electricity ,no running water ,nothing works in AFRICA ,lives are not secured ,so why on hell should i go back home ?.This is anough reason to abandon our faith at the hands of battered mental leadership that oppress the land with impunity.
So my question now is what is the reason for leaving in the first place ?,who do we expect to change the trend and things back home ?.we all wants to wait until things get,s right ,which may not be in this life ,because the nation and Africa needs your presence and ability to start restructuring,if we leave it to adjust on her own ,it is like expecting your plane to go back on a reverse gear.
My old man of the blessed memory will always say "onwero onye rapuru ulo ya ,na oruru afifia" [Nobody abandon,s his house because it was over grown with weeds].
What Africa as a continent needs most is what gave Isrealites the state of isreal as it is today .Despite the hostility encamped around isreal ,despite the dis-location of the state of Isreal because they are bounded by vicious and suicidal neighbours,yet they are nation that are SUPERBLY developed in all the sense.
How did it happen ?,they did not abandon the nation because it was in ruin ,they did not leave never to go back ,they did not succumb to the attractive nature of the places they lived.
They woke up in same mind and decided that no matter how rough and bad your home is ,that with some work done by you, it will be like every other homeland.They left the comfort of thier living places and, they went back to a land that lies fallow and devastated and return it to a nation of pride,they gave up what they cherish for the sake of what they LOVE.
African continent has men and women of substance that will take back what they learn and acquired from respective places they dwell and go back to Africa and make it a place of comfort .
Psalm 137 verse 1-6 said "
1By the rivers of Babylon [domicile] we sat and wept
when we remembered Zion [NIGERIA].
2There on the poplars
we hung our harps,
3for there our captors asked us for songs,
our tormentors demanded songs of joy;

while in a foreign land?

How can we feel comfortable in another man,s land ? ,when we can also make our land to be a place of comfort ?.Can we abandon our lands because we have myopic leaders or because we are myopic in nature ?.
Is that not the land our parents lived or lives in ?,is that not a place we left our loved ones to sojourn abroad ?.Is that not a land that gave life to us ?
is that not the land where we can retire and tell the stories of trials and errors ,stories of our conquest ,stories of good and bad old days ,story of our days in exile ?.
A land where there is no OLD PEOPLES HOME ,where no young ones dump the parents in old people,s home and count days to the burial of the parents.Africa is a place where our elders are celebrated,cared for and carried even in old age.
How can we forget such land of manners and embrace lands of ignorance where selfishness has taking over the souls of people ?.
Like it or not ,we are in bondage as long as we live in exile ,yes we are alliens in another man,s country ,that means second class citizens.It may not be pronounced but it is unwritten rules that faces us on daily basis.
Those places we are admiring are places without the resources available to Mother Africa ,compare that with africa that is richly blessed.
Let,s we argue that ,NIGERIA which is my nation is under developed ,no light ,no pipe borne water ,no good roads ,no security of lives ,,yes to all but have you asked ,despite all the hiccups and handicaps ,yet the CHINESE are there making zillions of dollars at our expense ?,enduring the things we abhor and they have replaced us in our own homes.
Have you considered that Americans,Europeans who are living out there in the jungle can never exchange it for any other place ? ,because the place is filled with Pot,s of honey and honey comb but we left it to pursue polluted sugar in another man,s land.If people can leave land of pleasure and relocate to land of desolution,don,t we think that we the son,s of the soil can do better ?.It is like ,going back to your house after work to see that it was flooded,things got soaked ,furnitures floating and everything in dis-order ,then you went and sleep in another man,s house never to go back and clean up the mess in your house.
Like it or not ,the place you take refuge is never your home,no matter how disgusting your house is ,you should go back to it ,roll the sleeve or even remove your shirts and start cleaning bit by bit and as days go by ,you will notice that you have restored the place to a living place once again.If you fail to return to it ,it can never clean itself.
Less we forget ,African redeemption never lies with the west ,nor will it be on the western diary of things to do today or tommorrow .Some of us may be relying on the west to wade in and correct the anomalies but ,that is the greatest lie that will never happen ,because the west has every hand on the evil that has befelled African continent.
Some will argue that they are in Libya to liberate it ,that one is another magic ,they are in Libya to liberate the oil ,annex that land ,exploit the land and leave it at the mercy of the west,by the time the west finish with Libya they must have planted western spies all over the cities ,created phantom and real enemies,sow mass seed of discord ,broke brotherhood and understanding and, leave Libyians contemplating RWANDARING the place [killing one another just for the sake of idiotic nonsense] .Just know it that western agenda for Africa is to make her a place of refuse ,a place for desperation ,need and want.A place for scientific experiment without repercussion.A place you rape them and they say thanks for helping us.
The west sole interest in Africa is to make sure that leadership are giving to dunces ,those that can never question the attitude of the west toward mother Africa.In a situation that a leader revolts against the west ,he shall be named CHARLES TAYLOR, a man they build and used against his own people ,gave him guns to kill his brothers ,made him president but when he refused to take more orders ,he will be hunged to dry.
How i wished that Rwandian used the guns supplied by the west to kill the westerners that ravaged the place ,instead of using it to finish one another,but that has been an irreversible sad history created by the west and experimented on African soil as usual.
Africa must be liberated by educated africans ,especially those that are trained on the ways of the west ,the best place to show that you are well learnered is to take it back home and put it into visible work ,so that the homeland shall be restored.
Imagine a continent that started human race , a continent that started civilisation from Egypt ,they are same today that are reffered to as stone age and backward continent.
Little wonder BOB NESTA MARLEY chant and i provide

African brethern ,what i am saying is that it is time we start heading home ,to ressurect the dying dynasty.To head back to our caves and make it a place of love ,decorated to impress even the prince and charge them greatly -the west for sight seeing on our shores.
It is only Africa that still produce unadultrated air,natural habitat and un-pollutted streams and dreams.
Africa is a place of pride but it takes the run aways to rebuild the place and restore the pride in Mother Africa.
