EKITI LG COMMISSION THREATENS CERTIFICATE RACKETEERS

Ado Ekiti-Chairman of  Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission, LGSC, Chief Aderemi Ajayi yesterday vowed that the  commission will discipline anyone found to have  entered the service with forged certificates or age falsified.

Ajayi, however urged  workers of job security, noting that the present government in the state would not sack those with clean records.

He said Fayemi-led administration would continue to prioritize welfare of the staff for better productivity and industrial harmony at the third tier of government.

Ajayi said the loopholes used to swindle councils of their resources would be blocked for progress at the grassroots, adding that the government  was determined to stamp out ghost workers from Local Governments.

Ajayi assured that no efforts would be spared to achieve the feat.

He pleaded with the Chairmen of the Councils to ensure that peace reighns in their domains and relate harmoniously with the workers to boost their morale for good quality service delivery.
