We Write with reference to the malicious story published today, July 11, 2011 on the online Newspaper “THEWILL”. It would have been professional for you to cross check with us before rushing to publication.

The facts are as follows;
i) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has no investment whatsoever in FirstNation Airways (ss) Ltd either directly or indirectly.

ii) FirstNation preparation for launch is progressing quite well.

iii) Our AOC process is on track with no hindrance
iv) The airline will commence operation by August 1st, 2011.

The Airbus A320s are the very first type on Nigerian register and requiring extensive certification process and diligence including detailed preparation because of the premium we placed on processes. Your reference to Bellview is deliberate malice.

We demand that the story be retracted and our rejoinder published in the front page in line with industry best practice.

We urge you to clarify issues with us in future.
