RIVERS INAUGURATES 4 BOARDS

PORT HARCOURT - FORMER Chairman, Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Mr. Azubike Nmerukini, has been appointed Chairman, Local Government Service Commission in Rivers State.

Governor Chibuike Amaechi made the disclosure, while inaugurating the boards of four parastatals and agencies of government in the state. The others are that of Social Contributory Trust Fund, Primary Health Management Board and Post Primary Schools Board. 34 persons were sworn into the various boards.

Former NTA Director, Pastor Shyngle Wigwe, heads the Social Services Contributory Trust Fund. The Post Primary Schools Board is headed by a former Commissioner of Education and Sports, Mr. Alwell Onyesoh.
