12 Ministers Get Portfolio.​..Allison Madueke, Mohammed, Adoke, Return To Petroleum, FCT, and Justice Respective​ly

President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday inaugurated 14 ministers-designate at the State House, Abuja .

Twelve of them, who were ministers up till May 29, 2011, are to return to their former positions.

He did not make a formal speech but said it would be reserved for a later date.

Out of the 14 ministers, only Hajia Zainab Maina (Adamawa); and Mrs. Stella Oduah-Ogiemwonyi (Anambra) are new to the federal cabinet.

Jonathan directed Oduah-Ogiemwonyi and Maina to meet the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Pius Anyim, on Monday to get their cabinet portfolios.

 
As a result, Emeka Wogu remains Minister of Labour and Productivity; Bala Mohammed, Minister of Federal Capital Territory Administration; Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, Petroleum Resources; Elder Godsday Orubebe, Niger Delta Affairs; Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, Health; Navy Capt. Caleb Olubolade (retd.), Minister of State, FCT; and Prof. Ruqquaya Rufai, Education.

Also, Mr. Bello Adoke (SAN) remains the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice; Dr. Usman Shamsudeen, Minister of the National Planning Commission; Alhaji Musa Sada, Mines and Steel Development; Mr. Labaran Maku, Minister of Information and Communication, and Alhaji Yusuf Suleiman, Minister of Transport.
