Ima Niboro Reassigned … Abati to take over as presidential spokesperson

The Nigerian Presidency has confirmed to huhuonline.com that Dr. Reuben Abati, chairman editorial board of Guardian Newspaper, will take over from Ima Niboro as special Adviser to the president on media and publicity.

Ima Niboro who enjoys a very close relationship with President Jonathan has been reassigned to another department.  

 
  As huhuonline.com previously reported, Dr. Abati with the assistance of Oronto Douglas   met with President Jonathan and informed him he was interested in joining his team.  

 
  Mr. Abati, who has applied for a leave of absence from the Guardian and is expected to relocate to Abuja soon.
