The blissful marriage of the handsome dude, Abuade Abiodun popularly called Steel began to experience turbulent several months ago. After several reports made the rounds that the Fashion Designer cum singer, Abuade Abiodun has been involved in secret affair with the leading actress who featured prominently in the Yoruba movie, Funke Akindele a.k.a. Jenifa.
The two estranged lovers Sexy steel and Funke are signed under the same record label with the well renowned producer ID Cabasa and Jahbless, Steel who just got married late last year was said to have been lured into acting as he has been featured in a movies produced by Funke, the latest which is “Awa Okunrin”
Close sources to the newly wedded wife of the singer could not understand the relationship between her beau and Funke Akindele and this has been a source of worry to the beautiful lady.
Funke and Sexy Steel have both been seen at various awards nights together while the wife is conspicuously missing. Funke Akindele was alleged to have forced herself to Steel when her effort to snatch Oga Bello's son, Adebayo was futile and she needed a man to call hers. The relationship started when Steel was said to have embroidered a dress for her, since then, he has been Funke's designer and close friend since she doesn't have a permanent lover.
When steel was contacted he debunked the story saying: “Funke Akindele and I are friends. As a matter of fact, I have known Funke Akindele for ages and I don't see why people should be publishing false stories about both of us. Before you can say a boy and a girl are dating you must have seen traces, or is it because I was in a film of hers, or because we went clubbing together? And, as a matter of fact, we did not go clubbing alone, we went with her friends and also my friends. If we were dating why would I say we are not, what is wrong with her?”
It's on record that Funke Akindele was also alleged to have a romantic blue with Femi Adebayo, the son to the ace actor Adebayo Salami (Oga-Bello) who was formerly the National President of Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP). Source then revealed, the both celebrities (Funke and Femi) had been seen in several hotels around Opebi. This was not going down well on Femi's wife, Khadijat, who threatened to move out of the house, until it was settled and the two lovebirds parted way.
