Comedian's encounter with ‘benevolent' robbers

UPCOMING comedian, Jonny Waka had a taste of the medicine of dare devil men of the night penultimate week when he was robbed at gun point on his way home after an engagement at O'Jez Restaurant in Surulere.
The incident which occurred along the Airport road in Mafoluku, around 10.30 pm saw the robbers dispossessing the comedian of his laptop, two expensive hand sets and a total sum of N19,000.

The robbers added a funny twist to the scenario, after he told them he was a comedian and parted with the sum of N100 to enable him get to his house safely.

According to Jonny Waka, who disclosed his experience to Citytracker: “I thanked them for their 'benevolence'.
