BLOOM DESIGN BERTHS WITH NEW INITIATIVE

Events and entertainment consultant, Mrs. Kikelomo Omowunmi Akinsola has landed with a non-governmental organization that seeks to make life better for the rank and file within the Nigerian Police Force.

Kike Blossom Direct Safety Initiative, according to the prime mover was conceptualized and registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (NCC), in order to inject productive life into the individual and corporate aspects of the Nigerian Police Force.

In her words, they will assist in rehabilitating Police Barracks and Police Stations, by making it more conducive; structurally and possibly replacing furniture and other necessary accessories.

'It is not only important that the Police Officers' working environment must be conducive and motivating, their wives and children also deserve to live in decent accommodations. While the society engages the bread winners for its betterment, the family should take solace in their comfortable living conditions.

We will also organize seminars, workshops and conferences for the development of intellectual capacities, with a view to competing favorably with international standard. And facilitate series of programmes that will create a symbiotic cordial relationship between the officers and the people they serve in all the states and local government areas of the country.

We will gradually eradicate the seemingly permanent face off currently existing between the Police and the citizens, by engineering an interactive programme that will enlighten the teens, youths and students about Police career, activities and potentials.

Again, we intend instituting a Police Friendship Awards, in recognition of institutions, corporate bodies and individuals who participate generously to Police Intervention Programmes.'
