Buhari alleges mass rigging

Presidential candidate of Congress for Progressive Change, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari, has alleged that the ongoing presidential election was being rigged in different parts of the country.

Buhari, who was not specific on the actual rigging locations, said his party would challenge the election result in court.

Providing further insights, the CPC candidate, who spoke after casting his vote in his home town, Daura, said there had been nocturnal activities since Friday night culminating in airlifting of electoral materials from different locations.

He alleged that massive thumb-printing was going on in different locations across the country.

“There have been nocturnal activities since last night. Airplanes have been airlifting electoral materials to different locations where massive thumb-printing is taking place.

“I have said that I will not challenge the outcome of the election in court but my party will do so”, he said.
