PANASONIC REITERATES COMMITMENT TO ENRICH LIVES

In line with its vision to dominate the information and (IT) technology sector and electronics market, Panasonics last week Thursday opened its fifth state-of-the art showroom and service centre in Lekki Phase 1. Lagos.

Speaking during the opening, promoter, Panaserve Nigeria Ltd, Mr.Bhojraj Rupani, said that Panaserve is an authorized service agent for Panasonic products in the country and the opening of the ultra modern sales and service centre underscores their belief and faith in the Nigerian consumer and country's future.

He also noted that the vision for Nigeria is to enhance the living comfort of the citizens. Adding that Panasonic is committed towards taking every important stride that is necessary to keep pace with the aspirations of its valued customers' nation-wide, while pursuing its aim to be the number one 'green innovation' company in the electronics industry by 2018 on its 100th anniversary.

'Opening of the showroom and service centre is part of our resolve at market dominance and the need to be close to our customers all over the country. Ultimately, the goal is to enhance the after sales and service experience by establishing service centres in all major cities of the country in the near future. Our commitment to excellence in customer service is reflected in the day to day activity of the dynamic and highly motivated Panasonic personnel. The organization believes that continuous development of its human resources is the key to enhance customer experience and ensures that adequate training and skill set upgrades occur at regular intervals.

'All service centres are manned by seasoned engineers and technicians who are well train ed in Panasonic centres in Malaysia and Dubai .These centres are well equipped with an array of diagnostic and specialized equipments, jigs and tools, installation and troubleshooting kits.'

Rupani also revealed that the Panasonic brand was a longstanding symbol of first class quality and eco friendly products, saying, 'Green manufacturing is a method of manufacturing that minimizes waste and pollution, these goals are often achieved through product and process design'

On the choice of Lekki, he said the organization identified it as a key growth area for future expansion in Lagos.

General Manager, Panasonic Corporation, Japan, Mr. Iwao Tsutsumi, also added that the organization hinges on its management philosophy's laid down by the founders that preaches the contribution to progress in society and to enrich people's lives through manufacturing and service.
