P.D.P: Let there be peace in Nigeria.
'Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be, be one-Marcus Aurelius Some weekend Newspapers, precisely The Saturday Mirror of March 12, 2011, carried a caption 'Violence: SSS May arrest Buhari ' In the report, Buhari will be invited by the
State Security Service to be interrogated for instigating the people to carried out protest in Gombe, also The Daily Trust of Monday. March 14, 2011, carried a caption as its cover story that ' Janathan 's team wants Buhari disqualified' All because of Gombe's phenomenon. Buhari has strongly condemned the Gombe incident in totality. He also apologized, upon all these, why he will be deprived, humiliated and crucified.
Afterall why was Buhari when that event took place? Please we should not kill justice in the table of selfishness and lack of confidence of not winning the 2011 elections. Let truth takes its course. How will Buhari be held responsible for the action of angry Nigerians over Jonathan and P.D.P misadministration? To this respect, I can say, they have not seen anything yet. History is always the best judge of men and events like a looking glass (mirror). It shows every one his or her time image. No matter how it is manipulated to suit a particular person, thing on purpose, the mirror will always reflect the image that comes before it.
Please! Reflect. Because Nigerians are really tired of P.D.P led government. It is because of only Gombe episode that the P.D.P government will show concern? But Alhaji Muazu, the Former P.DP. Youth leader in Gombe and the immediate past Director said that, Gombe state government should stop accusing Buhari supporters for vandalizing the campaign office because they used their P.D.P youth to carry out that act. What of the other happenings in the country of arresting the opposition candidates (Lado Danmarke in Katsina state and Alhaji Tanko Almakura from Nasarawa state ), denial of venues to hold rallies by the opposition and demolishing of opposition posters among others. Now, they will say they want arrest or wants Buhari disqualified? Please for peace to reign, let there be no anything of such, because the whole thing will change to another dimension and pollute the polity. As US President Abraham Lincoln. (1809 -1865) once said: 'Let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind the nation's wounds, to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widows and the orphans to do all which may achieve and cherish a first and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations' Yes.
We all have to have a mission for a better Nigeria, a nation of just and committed leaders; a nation of faithful religious leaders, honourable politicians, fair journalists, compassionate doctors, dedicated teachers, reliable civil servants and a country with just judges also with loyal army etc. Also we have to pray and hope for a free, fire and credible elections not to engage in harassing, humiliating, depriving and intimidation citizens (oppositions) e.t.c by the government in power. Oh God we ask for your love and the love of those who love you and for the love of every action which will bring us closer to your love and let not those who have no fear of you and who do not show mercy toward s us rule over us. May God bless Nigeria and Nigerians. Amen.
