LADOJA MAN ABDUCTED IN IBADAN

IBADAN -UNCERTAINTY now surrounds the fate of one of the chieftains of the Accord Party believed to be loyal to the former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Rashidi Ladoja,  as yet-to-be-identified men abducted him in Ibadan on Sunday .

According to a source, the abducted man whose name was given as Mr. Julius Olaoye, was picked up in the full glare of others around 7pm on the fateful day.

When people with him reportedly put up fight with the suspected kidnappers, they were injured as dangerous weapons were said to have been used on them.

Those  said to be with him at the time of abduction were Mr. Ajasa Balogun and his wife, identified as Kehinde.

Vanguard gathered that the men who abducted the Accord Party chieftain were members of the factionalized national Union of Road Transport Workers in the state.

They were said to have stormed the office of the party at Iyana Church in a Mercedes Benz jeep and forcefully flung their victim into the car and  rough handled those who attempted to rescue him from the abductors.
