Uduaghan's Campaign Train arrives Delta Central

The Delta State secretary of the ACN, Barr. Jaros Egbo has decamped to PDP with over 3,000 ACN members, as the State Governor Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan campaign train arrives Delta Central senatorial district.

Receiving the decampees, the Governor said that it does not pay to be in opposition , stressing that PDP would not allow the State to be pushed into opposition.

Dr. Uduaghan therefore appealed to the people of Delta Central to vote for all PDP candidates as it was the best and only party that will meet their yearnings and aspirations.

He described PDP as the best party with the best programmes and enjoined them not to vote for other parties so that they will not be in minority.

Spelling out the dangers of belonging to a minority party the governor said “Do not belong to the minority because you will not have a voice on national issues, you will lack team strength and you will not be covered by federal might”

Dr. Uduaghan who was optimistic that PDP will win all the elections in the state urged them to always vote for the party with the umbrella symbol as it has the potential to shield them against economic problems and the vagaries of weather

He charged contractors handling projects in Delta Central Senatorial zone to accelerate work so that the Urhobo nation will enjoy more dividends of democracy saying he was determined to complete all ongoing projects in the State.

He regretted that some contractors in the State were delaying the mega projects and enjoined them to perform so that his three point agenda will manifest loudly in the state.

His words “I call on contractors to execute their projects. Some of them are delaying construction work and am not comfortable with the development”

The governor however was happy that most of the mega projects completed are located in Urhobo nation.

Dr. Uduaghan outlined them to include Oghara Teaching Hospital, Independent Power Plant, Eku Hospital, Warri-Asaba dual carriage way, PTI road, Uvwie Street light among others.

 
He promised to continue with his three point agenda so that Deltans will witness more rapid economic development in the State. He also promised that his government was prepared to do greater things for the people.

The deputy governor of the state, Prof. Amos Utuamah promised that Delta Central Senatorial District will deliver all the PDP candidates.

Prof. Utuamah enjoined the people of the zone to vote for all PDP candidates so that they will continue to enjoy free maternal care, micro credit, portable water and other essentials of life.

Highlight of the campaign rally was the presentation of the PDP flag to candidates of the party in Delta Central Senatorial Zone by the State Chairman of the Party, Barrister Peter Nwoboshi.

Presenting the flags, Barrister Nwoboshi urged them not to be deceived by other parties and should be consistent and loyal.

He told them to traverse their constituencies and campaign vigorously.
