PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE OF THE CONGRESS FOR PROGRESSIVE CHANGE, CPC, MAJOR GENERAL MUHAMMADU BUHARI.

I am very sure in his heart Pastor Tunde Gbolahan Bakare must be regretting joining the CPC, the party of the violent people.

From Gombe to Kano, from Sokoto to Kaduna and even to Lafia Nasarawa State it is CPC Violence all the way.

The real threat to peaceful election in April 2011 is General Buhari and his CPC supporters. Since the General encouraged his supporters at his Kaduna rally to lynch other party supporters, they have been carrying out that his instructions actively in the North where his support is largely strong. That is actively encouraged by the Northern newspaper called the Daily Trust where it will make mega headlines of undemocratic behavior by CPC thugs.

That an Alfa or an Imam can debase himself in Sokoto to destroy the campaign bill board of President Jonathan is very un-civil and barbaric of the least

Major General Muhammadu Buhari and his CPC thugs must be called to order as violence is not their exclusive preserve.

Any act of violence by CPC thugs in the North will be resisted vehemently by us in the South.

That Major General Buhari can encourage his supporters to take to violence is not good for our democracy and he must apologize to Nigerians immediately. That is his military mentality hangover.

Democracy is about campaigning and voting and therefore he should warn his supporters and thugs to desist from destroying other candidates’ campaign bill boards and posters.

With the way his supporters and thugs in the North are behaving, Nigerians especially those of us from the South will find it difficult to entrust him with presidency of Nigeria. He will never have control over any government he might be leading as he cannot even control his party members and supporters.

The behavior of the CPC supporters is an early warning to Nigerians of the impending danger of any CPC government. Voters beware.
