Plateau Crisis: 17 Die In Fresh Attack

Huhuonline.com understands that seventeen people were declared dead, Tuesday, as a result of fresh attacks by unknown assailants in Plateau State. The incident which happened in the early hours of the day at Bere, in Fan district of Barkin Ladi local government area of the State, also left many people with severe injuries.   According to the chairman of Barkin Ladi local government area, Dr. Fom Dakwak, the attackers came in large numbers and attacked the unsuspecting villagers with sophisticated weapons.   He added that the bravery of the village youths prevented a major casualty as the attackers were prevented from carrying out further attacks with one of the assailants killed.
