AGGRIEVED members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State have been urged to remain with the party. Second republic Senator, Chief Victor Odili, who made the appeal while registering at the just ended voters registration exercise in  his Ndoni hometown, said leaving the party for another may not be a better option.

He advised them to sit back and contribute meaningfully to the success of the party in the coming elections. He also noted that their efforts would certainly not go unrewarded.

He enjoined those, who  had dumped the party to reconsider their position and come back.

Meantime, four legislators in the Rivers State House of Assembly are among those, who  had left the PDP in the state.

Senator Odili also called on people of the South South region to ensure they vote massively for President Goodluck Jonathan in the coming presidential election.

Commenting on the  just concluded voters registration exercise, Chairman Ndoni Community, Elder Raphael Odi, said people of the community were well mobilized for it. According to him, the response of the community was encouraging.
