WE'LL RUIN PDP - ATIKU'S MAN ON WHY THEY WON'T LEAVE PARTY

The chairman of Katsina State PDP Concerned Elders' Forum, Aliyu Sani, says the decision of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar not to challenge the outcome of the party's convention reflects the ugly reality of the situation in the party.

He lamented that the usurpers in the party robbed Atiku and other northerners, who used their resources to build the party and campaigned for former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

He told Daily Sun that it would be a futile effort trying to convince any court that PDP delegates were bribed to vote for President Goodluck Jonathan: 'There is no need for Atiku to go to court, there is no point. He is only going to waste his time if he goes to court, the verdict is clear. On what basis is he going to court?

He should remain in PDP and ensure that Jonathan is defeated. He should remain there and scatter the umbrella. Can you build a house and just vacate it?

Asked who is the owner of the house (the PDP), he retorted: 'The owners are Atiku Abubakar, Ibrahim Babangida and others, who used their resources to build the party and campaigned for Obasanjo when he had no money.

'Obasanjo, Jonathan and others just bulldozed their way into PDP. Even if Atiku wants to settle any score, he should remain in the PDP and canvass for candidate of northern extraction. There is no anti-party anymore, Jonathan started anti-party activities by sending out his aides to other parties to contest against PDP.

'Even if Atiku or anybody is going to work against PDP, it is out of aggression of the party leaders and out of frustration.

'The money distributed to delegates is from the Federal Government coffers, it is your money and mine that they used to displace our candidate and our people. They stole our money and used it to betray us. What they did to Atiku and our people is most unfortunate.'
