UNKNOWN GUNMEN INVADE ONI’S LAGOS RESIDENCE

The Lagos residence of the former Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Olusegun Oni has been burgled by unknown persons, who broke into the house by scaling the fence through the back.

Wife of the former governor, Mrs. Olukemi Oni, who arrived their MKO Garden, Lagos residence after the Xmas and New Year celebration in Ifaki-Ekiti on Saturday, January 8, 2011 discovered to her consternation that the door leading to the boys quarters was ajar.

Oni's Chief Media Aide, Mr Wale OJo-Lanre said in a statement that the invasion, which has already been reported to the police and other security agencies could have been carried out by those, who are after the former governor's life.

Ojo-Lanre said Oni had alleged that former Lagos State Governor, Mr.

Bola Tinubu was planning to eliminate him because of the interviews he

(Oni) granted some newspapers on the new activities of Tinubu and his Mafia.

The former governor, Chief Segun Oni is entangled in a verbal war with Tinubu, who he (Oni) accused of being the head of a deadly Mafia who removed him as a governor of Ekiti State.

Said he; “Chief Oni and his wife celebrated the Christmas and New Year at his hometown, Ifaki-Ekiti only for his wife to arrive Lagos on Saturday to find out that the door leading to the boys quarters was partly open.

“A further observation revealed that the burglary proof and the net of the kitchen window was tore apart by the unknown persons to gain access to the main building.

“What is more baffling is that the invaders left the house without carting away any item!”

While alerting the public to the plot to eliminate the former governor, Ojo-Lanre alleged; “The public is hereby being notified of the evil plot by Tinubu and his hawks to assassinate former governor, Chief Segun Oni.

“We are aware of the meeting they held a few days ago where it was agreed that noose should be tightened against Oni for his stance on the mafia being led by Tinubu himself.

“However, let the agents of the devil be aware that no amount of threat, blackmail and intimidation would stop Oni from rising against the mafia that is already threatening the existence of Nigeria as a sane country.

“This time around, we are no longer going to keep quiet and allow this mafia the freedom to purchase the soul of Nigeria. They have taken over every facet of our national life. Media, NGOs, religious organisations and now they have taken over the judiciary up to the Appeal Court level.

“Therefore, we won't watch them buy-up this country with their ill-gotten wealth because if we do, we will all have ourselves to blame because then, they will rape or even kill our wives, take our properties and if we go to court, nothing will happen because it is their men that will be met there.”
