Abia State governor Chief T. A Orji has vowed to stop at nothing in ensuring that Aba gets to the Zenith of commercial activates not just in Nigeria but in Africa.

The governor in a statement by his media adviser on electronic media Ugochukwu Emezue hinted that he had already constituted a committee chaired by the deputy governor Chief Eric Acho Nwakanma to work round the clock to give Aba a new face.

Beyond this, Abia State governor who is happy with the state of security in the state especially in and around the Eyimba city, stated that road construction and reconstruction which got stalled due to the menace of kidnappers have commenced in earnest.

The governor insisted that despite the huge amount being spent on security, which he is not regretting all the affected roads would be completed on record time.

 He assured that efforts are also on to give the Eyimba city and its environs, steady power supply as the power plant in Alaojie, which was inspected by the Vice President recently and the private power scheme by Geometrics would soon be completed and commissioned.

Governor T. A Orji told Aba people that when these ongoing infrastructural and energy projects become a reality, Aba will become the cynosure of all eyes especially in the area business.

 
He however appealed to Aba residents to show support to his administration by paying their taxes.

The governor also urged them to register during the voter registration exercise which begins in January next year.
