SENSAGE, Inc., a provider of security intelligence solutions, has announced that it would open a new security data management competency centre in Lagos, Nigeria, with Red Centre Consulting Pte, its master reseller in North Africa.

Its nominated local partner in Nigeria, Stephen Simeon Nigeria (SSN), would staff the new centre and would focus on large-scale event data management projects that required the scalability and flexibility that only SenSage could offer.

SSN's security and event data management skills centre would provide expertise around SenSage's products and deliver solutions that met both regulatory and operational demands.

SSN, in conjunction with Red Centre Consulting Pte, would provide SenSage customers with the necessary skills to ensure effective and successful deployments.  In addition, the centre would provide ongoing support for SenSage's comprehensive suite of security intelligence solutions.

According to the EMEA Director at SenSage, Inc, Charlie McAlister said: 'Having a local presence in Nigeria is critically important to provide our customers with the best possible product support and customer service and to fully understand the context of their business and cultural drivers.

'As SenSage continues to expand its international presence and strong customer base, building this centre is fundamental to our long-term partner strategy and to our customer's success.'

But to Director of Red Centre Consulting Pte, Ed Ramshaw, 'Our previous engagements with SSN have been very successful, and we at Red Centre have a large degree of confidence in their ability to support SenSage and our joint customers.

'We are proud to be strategic partners with both SenSage and SSN in the opening of this new competency centre.'

Tutu Odukoya of SSN added: 'We are very excited to be working with SenSage and Red Centre to bring this cutting edge technology to Nigeria and beyond to help our joint clients achieve the maximum benefit from their investments. We have an aggressive training schedule in place to bring our consultants up to speed.'
