Updated: PDP Suspends Screening In Oyo, Delta Gets New Date For Primaries

ABUJA, Dec 24, (THEWILL) - The National Working Committee (NWC) has suspended the on-going screening of aspirants and the scheduled primary elections of the Party in Oyo State pending the stakeholders meeting scheduled for Monday 27th December 2010 at 10:00am at the National Secretariat of the Party. The National Organizing Secretary of the Party Prince Uche Secondus in a statement said that the decision to halt activities in the State was taken by the NWC in the larger interest of the Party in the state.
Also, the National Working Committee (NWC) reviewed the scheduled dates for primaries in Delta State. The New time-table for Delta State is as follows:-

Meanwhile, the Governorship Screening Appeal Committee will sit on the 27th December 2010 at the Presidential Campaign Headquarters, Legacy House, Maitama, Abuja instead of 26th December earlier announced.
