Maduka and wife Charity unveiling BMW 5Series
Anytime the opportunity presents itself, the President of the Coscharis Group, Dr Cosmas Maduka, discusses BMW with a passion that can only be matched by that of the German manufacturers themselves. The opportunity came again last week when the new BMW 5 Series saloon was unveiled at the equally new Coscharis Place in Abuja.
Even the representatives of BMW AG at the event, Peter Witt and Wibke Stadler, seemed very impressed with the President's deep knowledge of their own products, which was evident in his masterly presentation of the new from BMW 5 and the manner he answered the questions therefrom. The BMW 5 Series Sedan, is designed to maintain its position as segment leader.

Unlike its predecessor, the new BMW 5 Series Sedan has a slightly more crouching stance, which gives it a more dynamic edge. It is even slightly angled towards the front to emphasize its sportiness.

Following the 2010 red dot design award, the BMW 5 Series Sedan also takes the 2011 prize from the German Design Council.
The new BMW 5 Series Sedan has won Silver in the 2011 Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany, presented annually by the German Design Council. The country's most prestigious prize for product design is one of several honours already bestowed by the Design Council in recognition of the excellence of BMW Group Design.
