CLERIC CANVASSES NATIONAL THANKSGIVING DAY
The Federal Government has been called upon to set aside a day for national thanksgiving.
The National/International Coordinator, Christian Pentecostal Mission, Dr. Mercy Ezekiel, who made the call during a pre-annual thanksgiving media briefing in Lagos on Tuesday, also urged the National Assembly to enact an enabling law on the issue.
She added that this was necessary to draw more of God's blessings on the nation.
Ezekiel said the church would, during its national thanksgiving service, appreciate God for blessing the nation.
Ezekiel said, 'I am calling on the Federal Government and the National Assembly to make it possible for Nigeria to have a special day to thank God for his blessings to the nation.'
