Former Chairman of Nigeria Premier League (NPL), Chief Oyuiki Obaseki, has advised that credible Nigerians, who have all it takes to represent Nigeria in FIFA and CAF should come forward to replace Amos Adamu at the football bodies to ensure there is no vacuum.

In a chat with Daily Sunsports, Obaseki said it would be a sad development if there is no Nigerian in the organizations when elections hold next year.

He, however, called on only those whose intergrity have not been compromised and who will not bring shame to Nigeria to come forward.

' It will be unthinkable to hear that no Nigerian is either in CAF or FIFA when elections hold next year, obaseki said. To start the journey towards making one of our own a member of these world and continental bodies, we must start the search for those who can represent us now.

Though, it is not a job for all comers, we must look at the pedigree of the likely contenders and their intergrity both at the national and private life. Nigeria is a big country that has men and women who can make the difference and we cannot allow the verdict of FIFA on Adamu to make us feel unwanted and inferior'.
