Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the national president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), and wave making gospel group, Mid-Nite Crew will headline this year's edition of the annual Illumination Assembly's Lekki Light Centre (LLC) crusade themed: Finishing Strong.
The two-day event, which is expected to rock Ajah and its environs, holds between December 1 and 2, with a special thanksgiving service on Sunday, December 5.
Shedding more light on the coming event, the General Overseer of Illumination Assembly, also known as God First Ministries, Apostle Isaac Idahosa, disclosed that Finishing Strong, was a divinely inspired programme that is aimed at uniting children of God from all walks of life. 'We are very happy to inform you that Papa Ayo Oritsejafor, the president of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, has accepted to grace this crusade in person. Aside declaring it open, he will also be ministering to us like never before. We have also invited sensational gospel group, Mid-Nite Crew, to help spice the two days of heaven on earth outing. Also coming from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, where he ministers to over 5000 members on a weekly basis, is Pastor Abel Damina, the General Overseer of Powercity. Damina also owns a cable TV, Kingdom Network. They will be joined by other men of God at the power-packed crusade. As an entertainment loving man of God, we are also inviting and expecting several of our friends from Nollywood, the music and comedy sectors. They are coming to listen to the word of God and also entertain us. Above all, our fully loaded LLC Choir, will also be available throughout the crusade to entertain all those coming from far and wide.'
Continuing, Idahosa, a gospel artiste with two hit albums to his credit and currently a Bishop Elect, further promised that the crusade would definitely transform lives and equally transport lights to all the nooks and crannies of Nigeria, ahead of 2011 elections.
Widely traveled Idahosa with over 20 decades in the Lord's vineyard is also a Nollywood enthusiast with several movie stars as strong members of his congregation. 'We are graciously looking forward to this event because everyday is a plus for the children of God. Our members are hugely excited about the visit of Papa Oritsejafor, other men of God as well as the many gospel acts coming to thrill them. We started very strongly and will joyously finish strongly too. Mid-Nite Crew is prepared and fully ready to thrill alongside our choir and other entertainers. We want to end the year in a special way with this crusade, which promises to be awesome and spiritually fulfilling.
