ABUJA Court Stops Enugu PDP Exco Election

ABUJA, OCT 30, (THEWILL)- An Abuja High Court Friday stopped the National leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from conducting election into any of the offices of the Enugu State Executive Committee (SEC) of the Party. The court however said the interim injunction would last only for five working days.

Justice M. M Dodo issued the injunction following an exparte application brought by the lawyers of the dissolved Enugu SEC led by Engr. Vita Abba. Justice Dodo in his ruling held that he is satisfied with all the submissions placed before him to warrant the order.

"I am duly satisfied that there is wisdom behind making this application. Therefore all prayers contained here are granted accordingly," Justice Dodo ruled.
