ABUJA, Oct 15, (THEWILL) - The gubernatorial candidate of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) in the April 14 gubernatorial election in Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has said that that declaration of Dr. kayode Fayemi of the ACN as the governor of Ekiti State signaled the beginning of the end of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South West part of the country and in Nigeria as a whole. In a statement by his Press Secretary, Seyi Enitan, the senator saluted Justice Isa Salami, the President of the Court of Appeal saying he and his crew demonstrated a “rare courage and with his ruling and that of his fellow judges, they have rekindled hope in the judiciary and the fact that the judiciary has become the last hope of the oppressed in our match towards instilling rule of law and democracy in the country.”

He noted that “henceforth, Justice will begin to take its root in the practice of democracy in the country as the Court of Appeal has renewed and given hope to all those who are oppressed by the tyranny of justice as displayed by the ruling PDP which never wanted the will of the people to prevail.

“I salute the courage of the court of Appeal and declare that from now on, all the remaining governors of the south west who stole the peoples mandate should begin to pack their bag and baggage’s and leave for time is up for them and their sponsors and supporters in the entire country,” he noted.
