Professor Aliu Babatunde Fafunwa is dead

The 87 year old former Education minister passed today at the National hospital, Abuja.

Prof. Fafunwa who turned 87 on September 23, was billed to deliver a keynote lecture at the Open University in Abuja.

Details of what took his life are still sketchy.
Fafunwa left behind his wife, Doris , four children and numerous grand children.
