FRCN TRAINS STAFF ON NEW TECHNIQUES

By NBF News

In a bid to boost its corporate vision, the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) has trained its management staff towards embracing contemporary management techniques.

The week-long holistic management workshop organised by the corporation, which ended recently in Enugu is expected to make the managers embrace the culture of digital reporting.

The workshop, which was aimed at equipping the managers with contemporary management techniques needed to achieve the vision of the FRCN, drew participants from other national stations of the corporation, excluding the host station, Enugu.

In his closing remarks, the Director General of the corporation, Yusuf Nuhu, a lawyer, who was represented on the occasion by the Director of Training and Manpower Development, Mr. Tony Adione, told the participants that the corporation recognised that each of them had talents deposited in them by God which could be harnessed by the FRCN to achieve its vision and mission.

For them to achieve the set vision, he said individual talents must be harnessed just as he pointed out the need for them to cultivate the spirit of team work, which is the basis of any successful organisation.

He charged them to reciprocate the management gesture by re-dedicating themselves to duties and by applying international best practices in the discharge of their duties.
