AHRC Wishes All Americans a Safe and Pleasant Fourth of July Holiday

By AmericaAmerican Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA)

The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) extends warm wishes to all Americans for a safe and joyful Fourth of July holiday. This day commemorates our nation's declaration of independence, a national holiday since 1870, and celebrates the foundational values that define America.

The Fourth of July is more than a historic milestone; it is a tribute to the enduring principles of freedom, equality, and justice. While we mark independence from Britain, we also reaffirm our commitment to the values that make this nation strong and resilient.

This year, as we face numerous challenges as a nation, we are reminded that our moral responsibility extends beyond celebration. True patriotism includes working to ensure that the ideals of liberty and equality are fully realized for all people in the United States. Sadly, for many, those ideals remain out of reach.

Let this holiday renew our pride in our shared values of diversity, inclusion, tolerance, and respect for the human rights of everyone.

Despite our political differences, we are united in our humanity and our common hope for a better, fairer future. Let this holiday renew our pride in the values and promises that make America what it is.

Independence is a basic universal right rooted in the dignity of every person and the sovereignty of every nation. It is born with humanity itself and recognized by the conscience of a just world.

All human beings have the right to be free. The occupied Palestinians in Gaza & the West bank also are entitled to be free and independent.

On this occasion, AHRC reaffirms its commitment to protect and advance the human rights of everyone in the United States, while striving for an America where all can fully enjoy freedom and equality.
