VisionWe are on a journey and we have a vision of building Etisalat Nigeria into a world-class telecoms provider, which sets new standards of excellence in the Nigerian telecoms industry. In years to come, Nigeria and Etisalat will continue to grow together. A country with the aspirations to become a leader in Africa must have a world-class telecommunication service for all of its citizens.

Product featuresIt is two years since we launched our 0809uchoose campaign, and 22 months since we launched our service. We actually launched 0809uchoose on September 8, 2008 and then our commercial operations on the 23rd October of the same year. Since that time, we have constantly sought to lead the market in innovation. Our track record speaks for us: 0809uchoose, homezone, missed calls notification, receiver pays, recharge others, free midnight calls, sms and mms to facebook updates, free data, bundles with Easy Cliq and recently an enhanced bonus on incoming calls and an entirely new feature we called You&Me. Our most recent feature is EasyLife.

Easylife is a proposition that breaks new ground and gives all our customers the chance to talk, and talk, and talk, giving them access to 25K / second calls to all networks at anytime of the day.We have introduced all these features into the market first and I can assure you that we will continue to innovate and bring our customers new services, which will meet their needs.

NetworkWe are not only an innovative network; we are also a network that cares for our subscribers. Recent independently conducted researches have confirmed our growing pedigree as the best provider of customer care in Nigeria's telecommunications industry. We are proud of accomplishments such as these and are keen to retain our customers' trust in us by continually exceeding their expectations. Also, we are also proud to acknowledge the recognition we received last year from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) for the best quality of service in Nigeria. Taking you down memory lane, out of five categories of service parameters, we came first in four and a close second on the fifth. We received this momentous commendation less than one year into our commercial operations. In the intervening period, we have not relented in our pursuance of aggressive network improvement and expansion, and our pursuit of quality.

MilestonesIn 22 months of commercial operations in Nigeria, we have accomplished major milestones that older competition could not achieve for years after they began operations. We are now present in all 36 Nigerian states and are densifying our network as our customer base grows. We now have over 1500 cell sites across the nation and are rolling out even more as we continually seek to ensure full and complete coverage of the nation. Every single one of our 1500 cell sites are data-enabled, another first in Nigeria considering that most other networks took longer to roll out and not all their sites are data enabled. For us, this is another first definitely worth celebrating.

Subscriber baseAs Nigeria approaches her 50th independence anniversary, we are proud to announce that we now have five million active customers on our network. This is an important milestone and if one casts one's mind back to the end of 2009 when we registered 2.7 million customers, you can see that our growth is accelerating. We are not by any means resting on our laurels as we are committed to continually growing our customer base and look forward to announcing our 50millionth subscriber in the shortest possible time.
