AHRC Wishes All Americans Happy Holidays:

By AmericaAmerican Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA)

The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) wishes all Christians a Merry Christmas. Christmas is the most important holiday in the Christian calendar and is perhaps the most recognized holiday around the world. Non-Christians also celebrate the holiday by giving gifts and setting up a Christmas tree.

Thursday, December 25 is Hannukah. AHRC wishes all Jews a happy Hannukah. Hannukah is observed for eight nights and days.

Thursday, December 26 is the start of Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa celebrates African American culture and takes place from December 26 to January 1.

The Holidays Season brings happiness to our lives and drives us towards solace and peace despite all the challenges that we may face as individuals, families, society, and as a nation. This is the season to recognize and honor the humanity in ourselves and others.

Let us unite against hate, division, and conflict in the spirit of the holidays so peace can be real for all and not just a dream. There is still conflict in Mandatory Palestine and much pain and suffering, especially in Gaza. We hope by next Christmas there will be peace in the birthplace of Jesus, Bethlehem, Palestine, and in all other countries experiencing conflict.

“On behalf of the board of directors of AHRC, I would like to wish everyone happy holidays,” said Dr. Saleh Muslah, AHRC Board President. “We look forward to our continued work with friends and supporters of all backgrounds with a commitment to human rights for all,” continued Dr. Muslah.

“December is the month of many holidays and celebrations,” said Imad Hamad, AHRC Executive Director. “We hope in December 2025 the world will be celebrating with peace and justice everywhere around the world,” continued Mr. Hamad.
