Popular Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has blasted his colleagues in the Ghanaian music industry for performing abroad and receiving meagre amounts.

The singer has been blasting his fellow Ghanaian artistes for sometime now, and his recent accusation is an extension of his call-out.

He noted in an interview with Glitch Africa’s Rants, Bants, and Confessions, he stated that his co-artistes are being paid peanuts after performing overseas. He claimed that many of his fellow countrymen perform at shows in other countries and receive a meagre sum of $5k or $7k.

He urged them to desist from the act, and instead learn from Nigerian artistes, especially the Big 3, on how to gain into the international scene, instead of disgracing his country.

“You see those festivals they go for, it’s $5000 and $7000, I wouldn’t go there. They want to impress Ghanaians that they are performing for a white crowd. Now it’s Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid’s time. Even Rema has now been added to the list. Go and fucking sit down and learn your homework."
