AHRC Welcomes President Biden’s Withdrawal from the 2024 Race:

The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) welcomes President Biden’s decision to drop out of the 2024 presidential race. This makes President Biden a one-term President, as the Abandon Biden Campaign across the nation promised.

President Biden has a horrible record on international law and human rights as to Israel and the Palestinians. Candidate Biden in the 2020 elections promised a foreign policy based on human rights and international law. These promises were a major factor in Arab and Muslim Americans voting for him in record numbers. Biden betrayed the trust and confidence of the 2020 voters. He instead gave full support to the Israeli genocide in Gaza. While Biden and his team made occasional expressions of sympathy for the Palestinians, the Biden administration gave full support for Israel.

The level of support has been unprecedented making the US Israel’s partner in its war on Gaza. Israel continued to starve the Palestinians and ruthlessly demolish Gaza. This unlimited support continued despite the legal action at the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court that confirmed the human rights community’s accusations against Israel.

“The human rights community has been a strong critic of Biden and his administration, indeed, denouncing his unlimited support of Israel,” said Imad Hamad, AHRC Executive Director. “Whoever replaces him as the nominee has to promise that they will stop this unlimited support for Israel and put an end to the genocide in Gaza,” added Hamad.
