Contrary to the rumour making the rounds that the strained relationship between Afro beat King Femi Anikulapo Kuti and his younger brother Seun is yet to be settled, Entertainment Cafe can reveal that the two brothers have buried the hatchet.

Investigations revealed that they settled their differences long ago and they have been working and sharing ideas on how to move the Afro beat music forward.

It was learned that Femi and Seun openly demonstrated their brotherly love at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport last Friday when they were about to embark on a tour of Europe.

Entertainment Cafe gathered that Femi who was about to board a Lufthansa Airline to Germany and Seun who was on his way to France aboard a Air France, had discussions at the airport for sometime before departing to their destinations.

Speaking about the reunion between the two brothers, Yeni Anikulapo-Kuti a.k.a. Y. K. Power, said that their differences had been settled long ago.

“In fact, both Soki and Seun have been talking and exchanging calls for over a year now. The Kutis are one big family and nobody can come between us,” she said.

According to Femi's itinerary, the Afro beat King with his 14-man band who have performed in Siegen, Munich Paris, France, will be playing today in Kiel, Germany from where he will move to Toronto Canada on July 1, 2007 for another show.

Before returning late July the Afro beat King would have performed in Milwakee, Detroit, Otawa, USA, Quebec, Canada, Boston, Burlington New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Atlanta, Flagstaff, San Francisco and Chicago in United States of America.

While on tour Entertainment Cafe gathered that Femi will be completing work on a new album.

It was also learned that the Soki exponent has compensated three loyal staff, Kate a.k.a. Mama Kay with a Nissan Sunny car, Emman and Abdul a.k.a. Always with a motorcycle each.
