President Tinubu Speaks With Super Eagles Ahead Of Angola Match

President Bola Tinubu has charged the Super Eagles to go for victory ahead of their quarterfinal clash against the Palancas Negras of Angola.

The President, who is currently on a private visit to France, spoke to the team virtually to boost their confidence ahead of the game.

In a post on his Instagram stories, Seyi, Tinubu's son, shared videos of the president dressed in the Super Eagles home jersey speaking to the team via a video call.

"Mr President Tinubu giving Super Eagles a quick pep talk ahead of today's AFCON Quarter Finals match against Angola," the caption reads.

A win today will see the Super Eagles qualify for the semi-final for the first time in five years.

The Super Eagles are scheduled to play Angola at the Stade Félix Houphouët Biogny in Abidjan at 6:00 pm (West African Time/Nigeria time).
