Ekiti State Governor, Engr. Segun Oni has assured the family of a staff of Moba Local Government Area of the State, Mr. Tunde Ayaga, who was killed last week at Ilawe-Ekiti of thorough investigation into the death, saying; “the government will not allow any cover-up on the case.”

Governor Oni, who was speaking while on condolence visit to the deceased family at Ilawe-Ekiti on Saturday described the incident as unfortunate, said the State government would make sure that whoever that was responsible for the murder is brought to book.

“I share in your moment of grief and wish to assure you that the State government would leave no stone unturned to unravel the circumstances that led to the alleged shooting of your son.

“It is totally unacceptable to us for our youths, who are the future of this State to be cut down in such dastardly manner and you should be rest assured that whoever that put this family in this sorrow will surely face the full wrath of the law.

Responding, the father of the late Tunde Ayaga, Mr. Wale Ayaga thanked the governor for the visit and called for a speedy and thorough investigation into the circumstances that led to his son's death.
