TOPIC: THE TITHE AND THE BLESSING.
SCRIPTURE: Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:10

The Scripture makes it very clear that there is a relationship between the tithe and the release of the Blessing, including supernatural supplies. Tithing is a Biblical principle that provokes the Blessing of supernatural supplies (Malachi 3:8-10).

In Genesis 28:22, Jacob said,
And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee,

Jacob must have learnt the principle of tithing from his father Isaac before making this covenant with God (Genesis 28:22). This was the secret of the greatness of Jacob. And Jacob’s greatness is evidently generational. That is why the impact of the Israelites, his direct descendants in the world today cannot be undermined.

Through Moses, God instructed the children of Israel to tithe. Leviticus 27:30 says,

And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s: it is holy unto the Lord.

So, tithing is Biblical; it is an instruction from God which must be obeyed in order to provoke the blessing of abundance and supernatural supplies.

However, in our generation today, the subject of tithing is under serious attack by the kingdom of darkness. Tithing has been grossly misunderstood by many for a long time. This misunderstanding of the tithe has escalated in recent times leading to a lot of questions being raised especially on the social media platform. The truth is, the social media is not the platform for learning God’s Word at the expense of God’s instruction through His anointed shepherds, the pastors.

So, make up your mind to follow God’s Instructions to you through His shepherds placed over your life and connect the Blessing. Refuse to be misled by anyone on the principles of God’s Word. Make up your mind to connect the Blessing through the power of tithing.

PRAYER: I connect the grace, Lord to receive what is in Your Hands by releasing what is in my hands. I receive the grace to be consistent in my covenant practice, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
