Ebonyi fed. Lawmaker distributes relief materials to flood victims,indigent constituents.
The Member Representing Ikwo-Ezza South Federal Constituency and the Chairman House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah has distributed relief materials to flood victims and indigent persons in Ikwo and Ezza South Local Government Areas, Ebonyi State.
The distribution of the relief materials cut across all the thirty one (31) political wards that make up Ikwo-Ezza South Federal Constituency and those outside the constituency.
The relief materials which was attracted from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) are made of food items, Foams, Mats, wears, mattresses, cash disbursement and other household materials.
Ogah who explained that the essence of the materials was to cushion the effect of flood, hunger strike in the area, acknowledged NEMA for their humanitarian services and quick responses to emergency situations.
He lauded the Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru for upholding peace, development, and unification of all NASS members in Ebonyi through his administrative mandate encapsulated in the peoples' charter of needs.
The Representative of Director General, NEMA and Zonal Coordinator of Enugu Zonal Office, Nnanyelugo Ezeani, described Ogah as a leader with interest of his people at heart who has established good relationship in a cause of helping his people.
The event was attended by the Chairman of Ikwo LGA, Hon. Barr. Sunday Nwankwo, Chief Anyim Ude, Director General of chinedu Ogah Campaign Organization, Hon. Chinedu Nwali, Former Chief of Staff, Godwin Mbam, Hon. Maxwell Nwali, pastor Aloy Ogah, Chief Mrs Monica Ogada and others.
